By default, all Digital Direct Mail™ campaigns allow you to filter recipients based on the State and/or Zip code of the audience member. This feature can be accessed from the "Filters" menu of your campaign setup as depicted below.
The following State & Zip Filter Types are available for all campaigns:
- State IN
This option will only distribute direct mail to audience members in the list of states provided.
- State NOT IN
This option will distribute direct mail to all audience members that are not in the list of states provided.
- Zip Code IN
This option will only distribute direct mail to audience members in the list of zip codes provided.
- Zip Code NOT IN
This option will distribute direct mail to all audience members that are not in the list of zip codes provided.
To add a filter, provide a name to remember the filter by, select the Filter Type and enter or paste in a list of values. Please note that each row should only continue one value, as shown in the example below. Once your filter criteria is set set, click the button to save this filter.
Note that filters may be added in combination. For example, you could add one filter for State IN CA, FL and then could add a second filter to exclude specific zip codes in these states per the example below.
When using multiple filters, the filters are considered to be an AND condition, which means an audience member must meet the criteria of all the filters.
